After a disappointing race performance last Saturday, we went back out for a training toss.  I could only make it out to 36.5 miles between taking kids to dance and soccer practices.  It’s getting dark a lot earlier and it really cuts in to the times I’m able to train the pigeons.  I gave the birds a rest on Sunday and loft flew them on Monday.

The pigeons made the 36.5 miles in 49 minutes with a speed of 1312.9599 yards/min (YPM).  It was 78 degrees and there was zero wind.  That’s a pretty good speed for my birds without any tailwind.  I’m hoping for one more toss tomorrow.  Then I’ll loft fly on Thursday and ship the birds on Friday.
